Refreshed Online Presence for Lepp Farm Market

Lepp Farm Market is a family-run, year-round farm market in Abbotsford, BC. They brought me onto their management team as their Marketing Coordinator in 2016, where I had the pleasure of working closely with the owners, and eventually ran a small in house marketing team as Marketing Manager.

  • The goal of the 2019 website overhaul was to leverage the popularity of Lepp’s recipes in order to drive more foot traffic to the market for purchasing ingredients.

    The results? Increased web traffic year over year, with a correlation in direction requests, phone calls and foot traffic at the market.

  • Working within MailChimp, I overhauled the format & look of the weekly e-newsletter to fit the new direction of the website.

    The results? An above industry average open rate. Anecdotally, we began to notice guests bringing their newsletters to the market and shop from them.

  • Custom on site photography to let guests know what’s in season, what’ products are new to the market, and consistently tell the farm to table story through behind the scenes farm content.

    My role was to set up the content buckets and rhythms, set the look & feel of the feed, develop a library of original content that could be used year after year and delegated the task of scheduling weekly content.
